Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Bud & Bloom?
Bud & Bloom is an in-home support service for neurodivergent children and their families in the Philadelphia area. We provide daily care, behavioral support, and family coaching designed to help children grow with confidence—and help parents feel more equipped, supported, and at ease. Our approach is rooted in non-judgmental, strengths-based support that honors each family’s unique journey.

2. Who do you support?
We work with children ages 4–14 with confirmed diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, or emotional and behavioral disorders. We partner with families who are:

  • Seeking support that meets them where they are—literally and emotionally

  • Looking for day-to-day coaching, not just supervision

  • Ready to invest in meaningful, lasting changes that ripple through their child’s growth and the family’s well-being

3. What makes your model different?
We offer more than care—we deliver collaborative, professional support grounded in behavioral and developmental science. Each family is supported by a team that includes:

  • A Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) with deep expertise in child development and behavior

  • A SuperBloomer—our trained, in-home caregiver with behavioral and developmental support experience

We help create cohesion across your child’s care ecosystem—aligning goals and behavioral reinforcement across settings like school, home, and therapy providers. Your child’s care plan is tailored, measured, and refined over time. We track progress and adapt to meet your family’s changing needs—ensuring support that evolves with you.

4. What kind of support do SuperBloomers provide?
SuperBloomers are more than caregivers—they’re confident, compassionate partners who:

  • Reinforce positive behaviors and coping skills

  • Support daily routines like transitions, bedtime, and after-school activities

  • Help children build a strong, positive self-image

  • Coach parents in real time to respond with calm, clarity, and consistency

  • Bring stability, calm, and positive connection into your daily life

All with a non-judgmental mindset—meeting families with empathy, flexibility, and genuine care.

5. What qualifications do your team members have?
Every team member is selected for their behavioral-based experience, empathy, and ability to connect. They receive:

  • Hands-on training grounded in developmental care and behavior support

  • Ongoing supervision and guidance from licensed behavioral specialists

  • Real-world coaching to support both children and caregivers in the home

6. How does care work?
We begin with a thoughtful, human-centered intake process:

  1. A conversation to understand your child’s needs and your family’s goals

  2. A personalized care plan designed by your Behavioral Specialist Consultant

  3. Thoughtful matching with a SuperBloomer who aligns with your family’s needs

  4. Ongoing support, check-ins, and plan adjustments to ensure care continues to work for you

7. When is support available?
We offer flexible scheduling to fit your life—not the other way around. That includes after-school support, weekends, and moments of transition that can feel especially challenging for kids and caregivers.
